School of Business Holds “Marketplace®Live” College Students’ Entrepreneurship Simulation Training Session

In conjunction with the Shanghai Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Promotion Association and the Shanghai Youth College of Management, School of Business Administration offered the “Marketplace®Live” entrepreneurship simulation training session for students majoring Business Administration in the class of 2020. By introducing the “Marketplace® Live” entrepreneurial management practice system and combining it with theoretical knowledge in the business operation process, it provided students with well-targeted entrepreneurial guidance.

 

A total of 36 students participated in this session. They tried to stimulate the business operation and management, and experienced the realistic business environment. In this session, students learned the relevant knowledge of business management with divided groups and analyzed the essence and core of entrepreneurship with the business cases of Apple Inc., and Shuhui Food Company. In the sandbox system that simulated entrepreneurship management, students mainly attempted to simulate operating a computer manufacturing business.

 

The systematic learning of this session allowed students to comprehensively understand the core of entrepreneurship management, established a clearer understanding of products manufacturing, as well as the overall sales process. Students' understanding of business management also rose from a single-faceted perspective to a more comprehensive level, to have a better vision of business management’s pattern.
