The school of Business Administration Launches a Career Initiation Education Activity for Freshmen

To meet up the demand of students’ individualized growth development, guide students to stipulate the career planning and promote students' study experiences, in the afternoon of September 28, School of Business Administration launched a career initiation education activity for freshmen on Songjiang campus entitled "Building the career, to become a better self". This activity particularly invited Shu Shaofei, an outstanding alumnus of “Real Estate Development and Management”, to make a special sharing session. Deng Na, Deputy Secretary of the Party branch and Deputy Dean of School of Business Administration, Lou Mingzhu, the counselor of Class 2021, and all students of Class 2021 majoring “Real Estate Development and Management” attended this activity.

 

During this activity, Shu Shaofei made an in-depth analysis of the current condition, development of the real estate industry, and the different choices of relevant certificates, to help the freshmen further clarify their future learning direction, development goal and improve their career planning awareness. He guided students to establish an appropriate outlook for career choice and employment from three aspects: Career orientation, goal setting, and channel design. At last, Shu Shaofei also combined his personal experience, encouraging everyone to encounter the ever-changing employment condition and the social requirement positively, to study earnestly, plan scientifically, seize the opportunities and embrace new challenges. This interactive session was quite enthusiastic, and the freshmen had the discussion with the alumni on issues such as professional development, employment orientation, and postgraduate entrance examinations.

 

In this semester, School of Business Administration will launch a series of career initiation activities to the freshmen with different majors, to continually motivate students’ study enthusiasm, strengthen their awareness of career development and enhance their competitiveness in employment.
